India sends humanitarian aid and disaster relief supplies to Afghanistan

India has dispatched humanitarian aid and disaster relief supplies to Afghanistan, which is currently grappling with severe floods and earthquakes. In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that the relief consignment includes kitchen sets, health kits, plastic sheets, sleeping bags, and other essential items.

The Ministry affirmed that India stands in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan during this time of crisis and remains committed to providing every possible form of humanitarian assistance and support.

In last two days around 35 people have died and 52 injured due to the natural disasters. Saturday’s 5.8 magnitude earthquakeon has damaged many houses and the recent flood also swept away many eastablishments and belongings. Authorities of Afghanistan said the people need immediate humaneterian assiastane.
