On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti today, temples have been thronged with devotees since early morning. Devotees are performing ritualistic worship of Lord Hanuman and undertaking special ceremonies to seek His divine blessings.
The temples themselves have been beautifully adorned, creating an atmosphere steeped in devotion. At the Hanuman Temples, a large number of devotees gathered to bow down before Lord Hanuman and pray for the happiness and prosperity of all. Throughout the day, the temple premises resonated with the chanting of the *Hanuman Chalisa* and *Sundarkand*.
Devotees are offering jasmine oil, *sindoor* (vermilion), *Boondi prasad*, *Modaks*, and bananas to Lord Hanuman. The devotees firmly believe that on this day, sincere worship performed with a pure heart invokes the special grace of Lord Hanuman.
Devotees shared that they have visited the temple on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti to pray to the Lord for strength, wisdom, knowledge, and inner peace. Subhash Sharma, the priest of the Hanuman Temple in Solan of Himachal Pradesh, explained that the recitation of the *Hanuman Chalisa* and *Sundarkand* holds special significance on Hanuman Jayanti.
He added that offering jasmine oil, *Modaks*, bananas, and *Boondi prasad* to Lord Hanuman on this day pleases the deity.
