The 11th edition of the India-Seychelles joint military exercise ‘LAMITIYE’ is currently underway at the Seychelles Defence Academy.

The exercise focuses on enhancing joint capabilities in sub-conventional operations in semi-urban terrain and peacekeeping missions. It aims to effectively counter emerging threats while strengthening interoperability between the two armed forces.

Officials say the exercise underscores the deepening defence cooperation between India and Seychelles, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, stability, and security in the Indian Ocean Region.
