Omar Abdullah inaugurates Tulip Show–2026 at Srinagar

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday inaugurated the Tulip Show–2026 at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden and took a tour of the garden.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister inspected various sections of the garden where nearly 18 lakh tulips of more than 70 varieties have been planted this year.

In addition, around one lakh other bulbous flowers including daffodils, hyacinths and narcissus have also been planted, adding vibrant colours to the Valley’s spring landscape.

He was accompanied by his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, Minister for Education Sakeena Itoo, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Satish Sharma, MLA Lalchowk Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar, MLA Zadibal Tanveer Sadiq and other stakeholders.
