India concluded its campaign at the World Boxing Futures Cup 2026 in Bangkok with a strong medal haul of five medals, including one gold, three silver and one bronze.

The standout performance came from boxer Chandrika Pujari, who produced a dominant display in the women’s 51kg final to defeat her Uzbek opponent by unanimous decision.

Three Indian boxers secured silver medals after reaching the finals in their respective categories.

Earlier in the tournament, Radhamani Longjam won bronze in the 57kg category after her campaign ended in the semifinals following a closely fought contest against her Ukrainian opponent.

The tournament, held from March 8 to 15, brought together emerging boxers competing in Youth Olympic weight categories.
