World Boxing Futures Cup: Four Indian Boxers Enter Finals

India’s young boxers continued their impressive run at the World Boxing Futures Cup 2026 in Bangkok, with Chandrika, Gunjan, Joyshree Devi and Ambekar Meetei advancing to the finals after convincing semifinal victories.

Chandrika delivered a strong performance to defeat Rihab Hamdoune of Morocco. Gunjan also registered a dominant win over Yu Gyong Kim of North Korea.

Joyshree Devi and Ambekar Meetei also progressed to the finals with commanding wins in their respective categories. With four Indian boxers now in the finals, the Indian contingent will aim to convert their strong performances into gold medals as the tournament approaches its concluding stage.
