Odisha : Olive Ridley Turtles Begin Mass Egg Laying at Rushikulya Sea Mouth

The mass egg laying process of olive ridley turtles is continuing at the mouth of Rusikulya in Ganjam district of Odish coast. The process, which started on the 1st of last month, is now gradually increasing.

This year, the weather is favorable for egg laying of turtles. Egg laying is continuing at the dynamic beach prepared at Podampeta. Arrangements have been made for the egg laying of olive ridley turtles from Gokharkuda to Bateswar.
