Double Olympics Medallist PV Sindhu returned back home safely. She was stuck at Dubai Airport amid ongoing Iran-Israel-USconficts. Iran was striking missiles to several cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha.
Sindhu was travelling to United Kingdom for competing in All England Open Badminton Championships. Last 3 days she was concerned as the situation was getting worse nearby the Dubai Airport, where she was stranded.
She wrote on social media: “Back home in Bangalore and safe”
Thanking everybody behind her return back she further wrote: “The last few days have been intense and uncertain, but I’m truly grateful to be back to my house. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible ground teams, Dubai authorities, airport staff, immigration, and every single person who stepped up and took such good care of us during a very difficult time. The empathy and professionalism meant more than words can say. For now, it’s time to rest, reset, and figure out the next steps.”
