Jammu and Kashmir advanced to their first-ever Ranji Trophy semi-final after defeating Madhya Pradesh by 56 runs in the quarterfinal at Holkar Stadium, Indore, on Monday.

Pacer Auqib Nabi starred with a match haul of 12 wickets, leading a dominant bowling performance that overcame modest batting totals. His spells in both innings proved decisive as Madhya Pradesh collapsed under pressure.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah congratulated the J&K team on the historic achievement and extended best wishes for their semi-final scheduled on February 15, calling the win a proud moment for the region’s cricket.
