Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will present state budget for 2026-27 in the Assembly today. According to the list of business circulated by the Assembly Secretariat, the Chief Minister, who also holds the Finance portfolio, will present the annual financial statement of expenditure for 2026-27 in the House after Question Hour.
He will also lay before the House the supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2025-26.
This will be the second budget presented by the Chief Minister. Last year, he had presented the Budget for 2025-26 on March 7, 2025, in the Assembly.
