Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Fares Announced, First Train to run from Howrah to Kamakhya

Indian Railways is all set to launch the High-speed Vande Bharat sleeper train. The first Vande Bharat Sleeper Express will operate between Howrah (West Bengal) and Kamakhya (Guwahati, Assam). This train will run on the 958-kilometer-long Howrah-Kamakhya route.

There is excitement among the passengers regarding the fares of this premium train.

According to sources, the fare for the Howrah to Kamakhya journey in the Third AC (3AC) category has been fixed at Rs 2299.

The fare from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri will be Rs 1334 and from Howrah to Malda Town will be Rs 960.

In the Second AC (2AC) category, the fare from Howrah to Kamakhya will be Rs 2970. In the same category, the fare from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri is Rs 1724 and from Howrah to Malda Town is Rs 1240.

In the First AC (1AC) category, the fare from Howrah to Kamakhya will be Rs 3640, while from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri it will be Rs 2113 and from Howrah to Malda Town it will be Rs 1520.

Between Kamakhya and Malda Town, the fare in the Third AC category is Rs 1522, in the Second AC category it is Rs 1965, and in the First AC category it is Rs 2409.

Between Kamakhya and New Jalpaiguri, the fare in the Third AC category is Rs 962, in the Second AC category it is Rs 1243, and in the First AC category it is Rs 1524.

In addition, passengers will also have to pay 5 percent GST on the ticket price.

For fare calculation on this premium Vande Bharat sleeper train of Indian Railways, a minimum distance of 400 kilometers has been set.
