Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has announced that he will return to professional boxing in 2026, after declaring his fifth retirement last year.

The 37-year-old Briton last fought in December 2024, when he suffered a second defeat to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch. Fury confirmed his retirement a month later.

Fury has enjoyed two reigns as heavyweight world champion and holds a professional record of 34 wins, two losses — both to Usyk — and one draw against Deontay Wilder.

The boxer has announced multiple retirements during his career before returning to the ring on previous occasions.
