Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, today, interacted with the Indian Defence Accounts Service, IDAS probationers of the 2024 Batch in New Delhion Friday. During the meeting, the Naval staff highlighted the Navy’s role in promoting and protecting national maritime interests.

He underscored the Defence Accounts Department’s vital responsibility in strengthening the country’s defence preparedness through efficient financial management and accounting for the Indian Armed Forces and other organisations under the Ministry of Defence.

Emphasising professionalism, integrity, and synergy, Admiral Tripathi shared valuable insights into the expectations from IDAS officers as leaders, providing proactive, solution-oriented guidance to their teams in keeping with the rich history of the Department.
