Lionel Messi’s G.O.A.T India Tour 2025 concluded in grand style at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. An exhibition match between Minerva Messi All Stars and Celebrity Messi All Stars marked the Delhi leg of the tour.
The friendly encounter was played before a packed and enthusiastic crowd, with fans enjoying an entertaining contest filled with footballing flair. A penalty shootout session further added to the excitement, keeping spectators on their feet.
After the match, Lionel Messi spent quality time with youngsters from the Minerva Academy. He interacted with the budding footballers, posed for photographs and joined them for a brief rondo session on the pitch, creating memorable moments.
The football icon also met ICC Chairman Jay Shah, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and DDCA President Rohan Jaitley.
Jay Shah presented Indian cricket team jerseys to the guests as a symbol of sporting unity. Messi was also gifted a specially autographed cricket bat, blending footballing excellence with India’s cricketing legacy.
Jay Shah further invited Messi to the upcoming T20 World Cup and presented him with a ticket.
The Delhi leg of the tour celebrated not only Messi’s legacy but also the growing bond between sports, youth and inspiration in India.
