COAS attends the 38th Infantry Commanders’ Conference

The 38th Infantry Commanders’ Conference being held from 09-11 December 2025 at the Infantry School, Mhow, was attended by General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS. Senior military leadership including VCOAS, Army Commanders, Colonels of Infantry Regiments and Regimental Centre Commandants also participated in the event. The discussions centred on operational readiness, training, capability development, organisational issues and technology infusion.

COAS also released the Infantry Journal, Infantry Vision 2032 and felicitated Regimental Centres for outstanding performance.

Addressing the officers at Mhow Military Station, COAS Dwivedi spoke on wide ranging issues including modernisation and force restructuring for a future ready Army. Emphasising the vital role of officers, he exhorted them to strive for excellence in all fields.
