Lal Quila Metro Station Remains Closed Due to Security Reasons

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has said that Lal Quila Metro Station will remain closed till further notice due to security reasons. In a social media post, it said that all other stations are functional as normal.

The Lal Quila Metro Station was closed after the blast in a car near Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening where at least 12 people were killed and several others injured.

The blast occured at around 7 pm at the Subhash Marg Lal Quila Metro (Violet line) Gate No 1. That time the traffic was heavy and a Hyundai i20 burst.
