Delhi-NCR Air Quality Remains ‘Very Poor’ Category

According to the Central Pollution Control Board , air quality in the Delhi-NCR region continues to remain in the very poor category, with an average Air Quality Index – AQI of 309 recorded at 7 a.m. today.

The sub-committee of the Commission for Air Quality Management has already imposed Graded Response Action Plan- GRAP-2 under the restrictions in the National Capital Region.

As per the AQI scale, an index value between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 satisfactory, 101 to 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, and 301 to 400 very poor. An AQI between 401 and 450 falls under the severe category.
