CISF officially inducted at Bhakra-Nangal Dam Project

An Induction Ceremony of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Unit, Nangal was held today marking the formal commencement of CISF’s deployment at the Bhakra-Dam Project (BDP), Nangal.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Navjyoti Gogoi, IG CISF (North Sector), MK Yadav, DIG CISF (North Zone-II), and Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, BBMB, along with the Unit Commander of CISF Unit BDP Nangal, Prateek Raghuvanshi, Comdt.

Senior officials from CISF and the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) also attended the event, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and mutual commitment towards ensuring the security of this vital installation.

During the ceremony, the dignitaries highlighted the strategic importance of CISF’s induction at BDP, Nangal and appreciated the professionalism, discipline, and dedication of CISF personnel in safeguarding the nation’s critical infrastructure.
