BJP senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur, while addressing a press conference on Thursday in New Delhi, termed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against the Election Commission as false.
Thakur stated that the Election Commission has clearly said that no vote can be reduced or erased online by any ordinary citizen. No vote can be removed or deleted without hearing the concerned individual. Some unsuccessful attempts were made in 2023, which failed. The cases of name removal occurred in assembly constituencies, and the Election Commission itself directed FIRs to be registered and investigations to be conducted in these matters. The Election Commission has already provided mobile numbers and IP addresses. If all this data is available, then what has the CID of the Congress-ruled state of Karnataka done so far? According to records, in the Aland assembly constituency in 2023, the Congress candidate won by 10,348 votes. So, did Rahul Gandhi and the Congress achieve victory by stealing votes?
The Senior BJP Leader said that Rahul Gandhi engages in all kinds of politics. He talks about SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities, yet attempts to diminish the strength of their votes.
Anurag Thakur said that Congress has no faith in Indian democracy and its constitutional institutions. Their sole aim is to spread anarchy, create disorder, and destabilize the country, and they have done all this through the toolkit gang. No matter how much Congress tries, the Bharatiya Janata Party will take every step to strengthen India’s democracy.
