Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, graced the 19th Foundation Day Celebration of the Manipur State Commission for Women, held on Monday at Imphal.
He praised the Commission’s efforts since 2006 in safeguarding dignity & opportunities for women, highlighted key schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Mission Shakti & Lakhpati Didi, and noted the state’s adoption of the Childcare Leave (CCL) policy granting up to 730 days paid leave.
Several dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
