C. P. Radhakrishnan wins VP Election, President and PM Congratulate

NDA nominee and Governor of Maharashtra C. P. Radhakrishnan won the Vice- Presidential Election 2025 with a margin of 152 votes today. The electoral officer, Secretary General of Rajyasabha P. C. Mody declared Radhakrishnan as the winner.

Radhakrishnan got 452 votes where as INDIA bloc nominee Justice B. Sudershan Reddy got 300 votes.

Voting began today at 10 AM and completed at 5 PM. After the voting counting started and the winner was announced.

Some Regional Parties like BJD, BRS and SAD abstained from the voting to remain as the main opposition parties in their respective states.

President Droupadi Murmu congratulated C. P. Radhakrishnan for winning the Vice-Presidential election.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Radhakrishnan
