Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated multiple metro railway projects worth over ₹5,200 crore in Kolkata, giving the city a significant boost in world-class connectivity.
Flagging off metro train services on newly constructed sections in the city, PM Modi also undertook a metro ride from Jessore Road Metro Station to Jai Hind Bimanbandar and back.
These projects align with the Central Government’s commitment to developing world-class infrastructure and enhancing urban connectivity.
