The last batch of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra arrived in Gangtok, Sikkim, last night. The tenth and last batch of pilgrims this year through Nathu La pass consists of 50 persons, including officials. Today, they will be briefed by the ITBP personnel at Gangtok.

The team will stay four days at Serathang and 17th Mile for acclimatization before beginning their journey towards Kailash and Mansarovar. They will complete the journey within 11 to 12 days.

After a gap of five years, the yatra has been resumed this year through the Nathula in Sikkim. Governor Om Prakash Mathur flagged off the yatra in June at Nathula. Joint efforts of the state government and various organisations of the Central government made the entire process smooth.

Devotees from all across the country came for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra this year.
