Monsoon Session of Delhi Assembly Begins Today

The Monsoon session of the Delhi Assembly will begin today. The five-day session will run till the 8th of this month. On the first day of the Monsoon Session, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will table the two key Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports.

The first one is on state finances for the financial year 2023-24, while the other is on the welfare of building and other construction workers for the year 2023.

Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht and Chief Whip Abhay Verma will present the Second Report of the Business Advisory Committee. On the other hand, Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood will also introduce the Delhi School Education Bill, 2025, today.

There will also be a Question Hour in the House every day in which the concerned ministers will answer the questions related to various ministries and departments asked by the members.
