In a major breakthrough, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested a 30-year-old woman from Bengaluru for her alleged links to Al Qaeda.

Sama Parveen, described as a highly radicalised operative, was arrested following intelligence gathered after the arrest of four AQIS-linked terrorists on July 23.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi said Parveen operated through an online terror model and that Pakistani links have been traced through her seized devices.
