The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check unit has debunked viral social media posts claiming that the official residence of the Vice President of India has been sealed and that the former Vice President has been asked to vacate it immediately.
Labeling the claims as “fake”, PIB urged citizens to avoid spreading misinformation and instead rely on official government sources for verified updates.
PIB in a Social Media ‘X’ stated,
“It is being widely claimed on social media that Vice President’s official residence has been sealed and former VP has been asked to vacate his residence immediately

Don’t fall for misinformation. Always verify news from official sources before sharing it”
