25th AIP Water Sports Cluster: Day Two Highlights Strong Performances by participants

The second day of the 25th All India Police Water Sports Cluster, being organized by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Tehri Lake, Uttarakhand, witnessed strong performances by participants across various events, reflecting high standards of skill, endurance and sportsmanship.

Ajay Tamta, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, attended the event as Chief Guest today and highlighted the importance of water sports in enhancing physical fitness as well as disaster response capabilities.

Kuldeep Butola, Chairman, Uttarakhand Sports Development Board, was also present on the occasion.

Manu Maharaaj, Inspector General, Northern Frontier, ITBP, stated that such events strengthen coordination among forces and enhance operational preparedness.

The championship was inaugurated on 8 April, 2026 by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami and will continue till April 12, 2026.
