Weather Alert: IMD Warns Widespread Rain and Thunderstorms Through This Week

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated to scattered rain and snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Rajasthan from April 6 to 9.

Thunderstorms and isolated hail are expected in parts of Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and western Uttar Pradesh, with heavy rainfall forecast for the Kashmir Valley on April 7.

Meanwhile, West Bengal is witnessing scattered rain and storms, while other areas of East India are experiencing thunderstorms with strong winds. Central and Western India can expect isolated showers along with gusty winds, and South India is likely to see light rain with occasional thunderstorms over the next few days.
