Sadhana Saptah 2026, a nationwide capacity-building initiative under Mission Karmayogi, is being observed from April 2 to 8 to strengthen citizen-centric governance, aligned with the vision of PM Narendra Modi.

Organised by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Capacity Building Commission (CBC), and Karmayogi Bharat, the initiative brings together central ministries, states, union territories, and training institutions to enhance skills and improve public service delivery.

It also marks five years of Mission Karmayogi and the foundation day of the Capacity Building Commission.

Mission Karmayogi reflects PM Modi’s emphasis on building a future-ready, transparent, and accountable civil service. The programme promotes a shift from rule-based governance to a role-based, competency-driven framework.

A key pillar of the mission is the iGOT Karmayogi digital platform, which enables continuous learning for officials. It has over 1.5 crore registered users and more than 8 crore course completions.

Sādhana Saptah includes participation from over 100 ministries, 36 states and UTs, and 250 training institutions, focusing on Technology, Tradition, and Tangible Outcomes to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
