Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) issued a new directive for the state of Mizoram. The daily distribution of commercial LPG cylinders across states has been capped at 60 cylinders per day.

According to a press release by the state’s Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, the MoPNG has also outlined specific distribution guidelines for various sectors.

Under the new rules, hospitals and educational institutions are prioritized and will continue to receive 100% of their daily commercial LPG requirements.

However, their daily needs will be calculated based on their average monthly consumption, utilizing data provided by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
