Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has recorded its highest-ever performance in FY 2025–26, setting new benchmarks in both production and sales.
The company achieved record sales of 20.14 million tonnes, registering an 11.5 per cent growth over the previous year. Its crude steel output also reached an all-time high of 19.43 million tonnes.
SAIL reported strong gains in exports and increased supplies to Indian Railways, reflecting improved operational efficiency and a growing global footprint.
The performance highlights the company’s continued focus on capacity utilisation, efficiency, and market expansion, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s steel sector.
