According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall are forecast for the high and mid-mountainous regions today, while the weather is expected to remain clear in other areas.

A fresh spell of rain may commence starting tomorrow, April 3, due to the activation of a Western Disturbance.

The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and hail in 10 districts of the state for April 3 and 4.
