Embassy of India in Kuwait expresses its deepest condolences at the tragic demise of an Indian national due to an attack on a desalination facility in Kuwait yesterday.

The Embassy is closely coordinating with the Kuwaiti authorities to render all possible support and assistance.

Meanwhile Ambassador Paramita Tripathi met Chairman of Kuwait Airways Capt Abdulmohsen S Alfagaan on Sunday, as part of ongoing coordination with airline companies in view of the prevailing regional security situation and continued closure of Kuwait airspace.

Discussions focused on operationalization of Kuwait Airways flights to facilitate travel of Indian nationals in Kuwait to and from India.

The Ambassador reiterated that the safety, security, and well-being of the Indian community in Kuwait remain the Embassy’s highest priority.
