Thailand’s Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, announced that the country is expected to have a new government next week, with a full list of cabinet members to be submitted for royal approval on Monday.
Anutin said the new government will move quickly to present its policy statement to parliament, allowing it to begin work without delay.
The upcoming government and its new cabinet are expected to focus on implementing these policies promptly to stabilize the economy and support households affected by energy price fluctuations.
The Prime Minister apologized for early March fuel price issues and announced an oil tax cut and other measures, with 100 days of oil reserves in place.
