BSF Seizes Heroin worth ₹50 Crore near Indo-Pak border

In the Sri Ganganagar district, of Rajasthan, near the India-Pakistan international border, the Police and the BSF have recovered approximately 10 kilograms of heroin during a joint operation conducted in the village of 2 KND in the Rawla area.

Hari Shankar Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Srei Ganganagar stated that the seized heroin is estimated to be worth around ₹50 crore in the international market.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that this consignment of narcotics was dropped into Indian territory from the Pakistani side using a drone.

The police have detained five individuals in connection with this case, and they are currently being interrogated.
