Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the US has made its offer of security guarantees for a peace deal conditional on Kyiv ceding all of the eastern Donbas region to Russia.
He added that Ukraine is ramping up its production of drones and interceptors to counter threats, noting that Russia is preparing attacks involving up to 1,000 drones. Zelenskyy warned that Ukraine would respond to every Russian strike, cautioning that Moscow would otherwise see no reason to pause its conflict, even as international pressure eases.
