The government has issued a clarification regarding reports about changes in LPG refill booking timelines. Some news reports and social media posts had claimed that refill booking limits were revised to 45 days for PMUY connections, 25 days for non-PMUY single-bottle connections, and 35 days for non-PMUY double-bottle connections.

The government clarified that no such changes have been made. The existing LPG refill booking timelines remain the same — 25 days in urban areas and 45 days in rural areas, regardless of the type of connection.

Citizens have been advised not to believe or share such misinformation and to avoid panic booking of LPG refills.

The government also reiterated that sufficient LPG stocks are available across the country and there is no need for concern.
