Katra–Amritsar Vande Bharat Express Train to now run via Gurdaspur, Batala

The Northern Railway has announced a route change for the Vande Bharat Express running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Amritsar.

The train will now operate via Gurdaspur and Batala, replacing the earlier route through Jalandhar. The move aims to reduce travel time and improve connectivity.

The train will halt at Jammu, Pathankot Cantt, Gurdaspur and Batala.

Officials said the change will benefit passengers, especially pilgrims, and enhance travel convenience. Revised schedules will be implemented soon.
