The United States–Israel war on Iran entered its 21st day on Friday, with hostilities intensifying across multiple fronts amid sustained missile exchanges, regional spillover and rising concerns over energy security.

The Israeli military said it launched a wave of strikes on Tehran early Friday following overnight Iranian missile fire at Israel. A military statement said Israeli forces began strikes targeting infrastructure linked to the Iranian regime across Tehran.

Israeli media reported that shrapnel struck the northern city of Haifa and an educational institution in its suburbs, causing damage but no casualties.

Meanwhile, Iran launched multiple rounds of missiles towards Israel late Thursday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Islamic republic had been “decimated” by the war.

Iran also responded to an Israeli attack on a major gas field by striking Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar, causing damage expected to take years to repair. Tehran warned it would show no restraint if its energy infrastructure is targeted again, following an Israeli strike on the South Pars Gas Field earlier this week.
