India scripted history yesterday by winning the Men’s T20 World Cup Cricket 2026 as a host nation. Earlier no host countries had won this feet. India for the first time in the ICC T20Â World Cup retained the trophy as they had won it in 2024 played at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
India now having the most number of T20 World Cup titles with three, the first one India got in 2007 under the captainship of M S Dhoni played at England. The second title India got in 2024 under the leadershipof Rohit Sharma in West Indies.

Jasprit Bumrah also equalled the most number of wickets (4) with Ajantha Mendis in a T20 World Cup Final.
India achieved anther record in the Final with 98 runs scored for the 1st wicket partnership by Sanju Samson and Abhiskek Sharma.
