Parents of students from the Kashmir Valley studying in Iran have raised concern over the deteriorating security situation there following recent escalations in the region. They said ongoing military activity and communication disruptions have left several families unable to contact their children, who are stranded in different Iranian cities.

Hundreds of Indian students, including many from Kashmir, are reportedly unable to return due to flight cancellations and restricted airspace, heightening anxiety among families.

The parents have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration to initiate immediate evacuation measures and ensure safe passage for the students.

They also called for the establishment of dedicated communication channels to keep families informed and urged authorities to prioritize the safety and well-being of all stranded students and facilitate their early return.
