Maritime Defence Deal: India Signs ₹5,083 Cr for Advanced Light Helicopters

The Ministry of Defence has signed contracts worth ₹5,083 for Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) and Shtil missiles, in the presence of Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi.

The contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited covers six Advanced Light Helicopters Mark-two Maritime Role for the Indian Coast Guard, along with the Advanced Light Helicopter Mark three package, engineering support and logistics.

These twin-engine helicopters will strengthen maritime surveillance and offshore protection.
