Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary participated in the Doul festival celebrations in Tamulpur. He was accompanied by BTC Deputy Chief Bijit Gaur Narzary and former council member Hemanta Kumar Rabha.
The delegation attended various religious programmes and interacted with local residents. During his visit to the historic Punia Shyamrai Satra, the Speaker assured that special developmental schemes would be undertaken to improve the institution’s infrastructure.
