The conflict involving Iran is intensifying as Israel and Hezbollah exchange fire.

Israel announced strikes targeting the “heart of Tehran” and launched attacks on Lebanon after Hezbollah fired rockets and drones at Israeli territory.

The Israeli military warned residents in about 50 towns and villages in Lebanon to evacuate, citing potential further strikes on Hezbollah militants.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, whose government advocates for Hezbollah’s disarmament, condemned the rocket fire as “irresponsible.”

On ‘X’, he said the attacks “endanger Lebanon’s security and safety, and give Israel pretexts to continue its attacks.”

Without naming Hezbollah directly, Salam vowed to “stop the perpetrators and protect the Lebanese people.”

Meanwhile, Tehran continued its missile and drone strikes into a third day, hitting Gulf cities including Dubai, Doha, and Manama. Loud blasts were reported in Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE’s most populous city.

The United States and its Arab allies have condemned Iran for targeting Gulf states hosting US troops.

In a joint statement with Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, the US State Department called the attacks “reckless and destabilizing,” warning against targeting civilians or countries not engaged in hostilities.
