International Conference on Advanced Next Generation Vixion for Emerging & Sustainable Healthy Foods (ANVESH 2026) will be held from 26-28 February, 2026 at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM-K), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. In a Curtain Raiser Press Conference Secretary, MoFPI, Avinash Joshi informed that during the 3-day conference will bring together leading global experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge and explore innovative, sustainable solutions for building resilient and healthy food systems.
Dr. Harinder Singh Oberoi, D. Praveen, Joint Secretary, MoFPI and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
More than 1000 delegates representing over 25 countries, comprising of global experts, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, exporters, entrepreneurs and innovators.
The conference aims to address emerging advancements in food processing, value addition, digital compliance systems, sustainable supply chains, export-oriented innovation, product diversification, food safety, traceability and future-ready agri-food entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The exhibition under ANVESH holds significance for entrepreneurs value as it creates a common platform where corporate houses, startups, PMFME beneficiaries, and MSME units interact within a shared innovation ecosystem. Such participation enhances market visibility for Entrepreneurs, enabling them to showcase their products, technologies, and processing solutions to potential buyers, investors, and institutional partners. The exhibition will bring. together more than 50 exhibitors representing the entire spectrum of the food processing sector. The presence of large corporates promotes value-chain integration and opens avenues for contract manufacturing, sourcing partnerships, and technology transfer. Startups contribute innovative processing, packaging, and digital solutions that MSMEs can adopt to improve productivity and competitiveness. The inclusion of PMFME beneficiaries from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, and Jammu & Kashmir highlights successful grassroots enterprises, encourages peer learning, and demonstrates the tangible impact of government support.
Ministry of Ayush, All India Institute of Ayurveda and prime Institutes from different parts of the world also will participate in the ‘ANVESH 2026’.
Complementing the exhibition, the cookery show will serve as a vibrant highlight of the event, blending traditional culinary knowledge with modern innovation. Renowned chefs will demonstrate value-added dishes prepared using locally available ingredients, such as sattu galette and sugar-free rasgolla, while explaining their nutritional benefits and commercial potential. The cookery demonstrations will promote healthy formulations, sustainable food practices, and product innovation, motivating entrepreneurs to explore value addition in traditional foods. The interactive format will encourage knowledge exchange among researchers, industry experts, and participants, thereby inspiring entrepreneurship and creating new opportunities in functional and processed food products.
The program will address emerging and transformative areas such as digital technologies in food processing, alternative proteins, nutraceuticals, food safety and traceability, waste valorization, circular economy approaches, post harvest innovations, and food entrepreneurship. Activities will include plenary talks, keynote lectures, panel discussions, roundtables, exhibitions, and cultural events, creating a dynamic platform for dialogue and collaboration.
