Jammu and Kashmir Reaches First Ranji Final beating Bengal by 6 Wickets

Jammu and Kashmir for the first time advanced to Ranji Trophy final with a commanding victory over Bengal at the Bengal Cricket Academy ground in Kalyani today.

Led by Auqib Nabi’s outstanding all-round display, Jammu and Kashmir secured a six-wicket win against the two-time champions. Bengal were dismissed for 99 in their second innings, as Nabi and Sunil Kumar claimed four wickets each, setting Jammu and Kashmir a modest target of 126.

Nabi delivered a match-winning all-round performance, taking nine wickets in total and scoring a vital 42 off 54 balls in the first innings.

Jammu and Kashmir will now meet the winner of the other semifinal between Karnataka and Uttarakhand in the final.
