NSG Chief Inaugurates 16th All India Police Commando Competition

Director General of National Security Guard (NSG) B Srinivasan today inaugurated the sixteenth All India Police Commando Competition at Manesar in Gurgaon. Addressing the gathering, the DG, NSG, welcomed the participating teams and emphasised that the Competition is not merely a test of strength or speed, but of composure, clarity of judgment and discipline under pressure.

The Director General stated that the competition is being conducted in a transparent and professionally structured manner with independent juries ensuring fairness.

In this edition 24 teams, comprising nearly 800 commandos from Central Armed Police Forces and State Police Forces, are participating.

These teams represent formations routinely engaged in counter-terror operations, urban intervention, hostage rescue and the protection of critical assets, reflecting both competitive spirit and a shared commitment to operational readiness.
