Indian Navy Airlifts Japanese sailor for Emergency Medical Treatment

Indian Navy, in a swift respond evacuated a Japanese sailor, who needed a medical treatment. Naval’s heli wing, Sea King Helicopter on 14 February immediately rushed to the spot and evacuated th sailor who was in a critical condition and needed the mediacal attention.

The Japanese sailor is from a Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF)  ship and the ship was 200 km from Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on the east coast of India.

The patient was safely airlifted to Indian Navi’s Dega Base and shifted to Naval Hospital Kalyani for medical aid.
