India wrapped up their Asian Shooting Championships campaign in New Delhi with seven medals on the final day, taking their overall tally in the senior section to 33.

Amanpreet Singh headlined the action with a gold in the 25-metre pistol event, while his compatriots Gurpreet Singh and Ankur Goel completed a podium sweep for India in the individual event.

The trio also clinched team gold ahead of Vietnam.

In the women’s 50-metre rifle prone event, Sift Kaur Samra secured silver.

Kazakhstan’s Yelizaveta Bezrukova took gold, while India’s Tejaswini Sawant won bronze.

India also clinched gold in the women’s 50m rifle prone team event.
