In a latest update on the Ukraine-Russia conflict, the United States has urged both countries to end their nearly four-year war by June and offered to host talks in Florida next week.

In a nightly video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Washington had proposed talks in Miami, which Kyiv had agreed to attend.

He also condemned Russia for overnight strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities, stating Moscow must be prevented from using the cold winter weather as leverage against Ukraine.

This week’s talks in Abu Dhabi concluded without a major breakthrough, but both sides agreed to exchange 157 prisoners of war each, resuming such swaps after a five-month pause.
